Two Worlds, One Love: A Three Day Indian Wedding at Terranea Resort

Three days. Two cultures. One love story that deserved to honor both completely. At Terranea Resort perched above the Pacific, we designed a wedding that moved through its own trilogy. The Sangeet arrived first — jewel-toned, joyful and alive, deep emerald velvet seating and warm candlelight holding a night of family performances, laughter and the full color of Indian celebration. Then the world shifted. For the ceremony and reception, we did the opposite of everything the night before. Pure white. Soft gold. A ceiling of suspended ivory blooms and crystal strands stretched overhead like a sky made of flowers, above a white aisle that seemed to extend to the horizon. Mirror-topped tables in gold, Louis chairs, and the quietest, most elegant palette imaginable welcomed the western chapter of their story. The family had asked for something different. A blending of worlds rather than a choosing between them. What we built was not a compromise. It was a conversation between two cultures, held inside one of the most beautiful coastal settings in California, for two people whose love was large enough to hold all of it.
